I was driving at 15. I'm not sure what the rules are now, but when I was that age, you could get your learner's permit at 15, and I think you kept it for like a month before you could take the driving test for your license. The only restriction was that you couldn't drive by yourself at night until you were 16. And yes...that totally blows my mind to think about now!
