I only periodically go to the salon and usually just use a box. My hair requires root touch ups every 4 weeks. I buy professional-grade products and apply them myself. It takes me about 5 minutes to apply. Easy, peasy!

I waited 12 weeks and let it grow out, but I looked really washed out and much older. Now that it's highly encouraged that I use video for work, I've decided to go back to coloring. I have anywhere from 5-15 meetings per day and I really want to avoid ageism. Perhaps if the circumstances were different I would consider it. I'm also in that in-between phase. My hair is in the salt and pepper phase, not a pretty silver.
