That's great, Lena! I had an issue with my P&S Canon about a month after the warranty expired, and they fixed it for me under warranty, too. Gotta love good customer service.

LOL! I finally bought a 3 year warranty with my most recent camera, too, since they seem to break on me at about the 2-year mark.
