Yes aloe vera kinda does that to me too.
Maybe look into some face oils too. It's quite expensive but I know Beautycounter is clean and I love their products. Their countertime face cleanser is very nourishing and I also love their Cleansing balm that you can use as moisturizer too (as well as cleanser and mask)
