I am on a site with classes and tutorials for the program I use. The instructor does videos you can watch but also puts together a pdf document of the steps in the video. Also, because it is a pay site, I could download the videos if I wanted. Basically what I do is watch the videos then download the pdf. Most of these videos are Master Classes so about an hour long. I like this approach of video with pdf. I am a book learner.

I also just finished a course to learn more about excel. It was 100% video and even though they were short, it was frustrating at times because she moved through the steps so quickly. Since I tried to do the same thing as she did it, pausing to catch up was a hassle. I even had to google to find written instructions to clarify what she was talking about. Then it sunk in!
