I just made those meatballs at Christmas... I did add 1T of yellow mustard and 1/4c Worcestershire sauce which added another layer of taste - yum!
bacon wrapped anything - little sausages, chestnuts, chicken are big hits with my extended family... can't go wrong with bacon...
taco dip and deviled eggs - I'm not allowed to host a family gathering, without it.
