I was thinking this too. But I think you could also interpret it in a 'fix-it-up' type of way. Like a broken car window that you put duct tape on to get it to the car shop. Or a half dented old farm car that still gets you around. I can think of lots of "I fixed it!" jobs by my kid or DH
. Or even an injury like a broken wrist and you still manage to cook dinner! LOL!
