I do this too....I have to let things simmer a bit before attacking my job or assignment or even sometimes scrapping things. Once I've got my brain wrapped around it I can usually get it done quickly as I'm not repeating or backtracking or making corrections as I've already thought things through. Doesn't always work, but usually, it does.
