I went with my husband in 2003 or 2004 for my birthday. It was fun but I remembered it being way more awesome as a kid. I think the problem was I went during spring break that year and it was super packed and kinda warm as well so not as enjoyable. I want to go again with my husband and told my daughter since my son says he is not really interested in Disney she and I can go together. We have been to every other themepark around but never took any of the kids to Disney so I am excited to experience it with her.
