I've had hard drives fail over time too. I try to back up to a 2nd one. For 10 years I've said I should get Backblaze. Maybe it is time? LOL.
lol I also procrastinate when it comes to backing up and I guess I learned from my mistake. I really need to look into backblaze.

I ordered a usb hub. I'll see how it works. It's inexpensive enough that it could be replaced easily if it fails to work.
