Thanks everyone.
The sepsis is pretty bad in his left leg (from the knee down) and the doctors are very concerned. His leg is almost black. There has been talk about him losing his leg, if not both. It is just a waiting game.
He was awake and communicating by writing for a short time yesterday but is unable to talk due to all the tubes.
So...it seems for every positive step forward there are a few steps back.
Thanks again for all your prayers!!! We are extremely close with my mom's side of the family...cousins are like siblings...so this is really hard!!
