LOL! Chinese restaurants owners or any shop owners would be super nice if they find any foreigners speaking in Chinese to them. I have a Swedish friend living and working here, we went to a shop in a market one day. The owner was so nice to her, she gave discount without us asking, though we only bought 1 thing. That would never happen to me, though I am a foreigner too.
