Ya, that happens to me too. I have 2 digital library accts so always have an assortment of books to read and only get 3 wks to borrow (unless I can renew) so I won't waste my time if a book doesn't grab me pretty quickly. But....if it was somewhat interesting, I hate to just let it go so I will skim and fast forward through a few paragraphs here and there, just enough to get an idea of how it ends. Life's too short to read a book that doesn't really grab you, right? Especially the long ones. I'm reading one now that is kind of middle of the road for me but it is a really short one so I'm going to keep going and if need be....will skim. I'm hoping it picks up and I think it might.
