my grandparents were called Bobba (yiddish for grandmother) and Zeida (yiddish for grandfather) on both sides.
My kids call my mother Babo as Jess (first born) couldn't say Bobba and my father is Zeida. My in-laws are Bubie and Zeidie.
Hubs wants to be called Zeidie come the time and I will NOT be called either Bobba, Babo or Bubie... lol. No idea what I want to be called but still a few years from that... first we need a wedding (hopefully sometime in the next two years God willing)
