My grandparents where grandma and grandpa on my dad's side... granny and grandpy on my mom's side... my great grandparents were big grandpa and little grandma.
For my son - my mom is Grammy and step dad is Grandpa D (name is Dave)... my dad is Grandpa Johnny... on my husband's side... it's just Grandpa Kuch... my husband's step mom refused from day one to be called grandma - but we call her babushka behind her back (she is from Russia) haha... now that she has grandkid, she wants him to call her grandma... my son won't, just calls her by her name, Marina.
