I think only with crayons and markers do we stick to name brand. Everything else I get the cheapest.... and it's because of what Darcy said... it all gets thrown in together anyway so my kids don't even get to use what we bought pretty much.
And while we're on this subject...I don't really like that it all gets thrown in, but what bugs me most is that they don't even end up using it all! She needs all these different writing books this year (2 spiral books, 2 handwriting ones, 2 story tablets, 2 comp books).... she's in 1st grade, I don't think she'll get through it all. But maybe I'm wrong!
