I am also buying school supplies from a list for the first time this year (sniff!). The list doesn't specify brands, though. With all the sales that are going on, the price difference between Crayola and Roseart has been minimal. I went with Crayola for crayons and markers. I didn't really think brand made a difference on folders and notebooks. I am interested in the glue comparison though -- I think I went Roseart for glue sticks and white glue. Not something we use a ton of at home, so I didn't know the difference, and his teacher had TEN gluesticks on the list, so I went less expensive... And Walgreen's #2 pencils (Penway) vs. Ticonderoga. Will I regret that?
Kleenex is my thing. Total brand snob there!
