I also recently did this. . .with an old fashioned notebook. I have each month in each year with a list of things I want to scrap from that month. I check it off when I make a layout. Now, after each month is over and my photos are in the folder, I look through and write down everything I might want to scrap. I just flip though the book until something catches my eye when I feel like scrapping.
