It's nice to learn more about everyone here! Pre-kids I had a background in education and public health. Then I was a SAHM for 10 years. When my youngest started kindergarten I went back to work, but due to my middle child's special needs I had to stick with something on a school schedule that lets me be home when he's home. (He has Smith-Magenis Syndrome, so he's on the autism spectrum, has ADHD, and has sleep/speech/motor planning disorders and learning disabilities. He's 13 now, and jury is still out on whether he'll be responsible enough to live on his own as an adult. Some adults with SMS do live independently, but most don't.) So I work part time as a preschool teacher for 3 and 4 year olds. I love the work and the schedule, but I hate the small paycheck!
When I'm not working or busy with the family and house I scrap and listen to audiobooks.
