personally i've made an albumplanner i've printed out and note down the photonames, keywords for journaling and kit suggestions if i have any. i've also made room for changes, which there are normally loads of
so of you look through your photos briefly and note down the names of the photos you'd like to scrap (to make it easy to search for later), the theme and maybe some highlights if you remember, you're on a good start!
