Our oldest son has struggled for the last few years of high school, but he seems to be thriving now that he's in college. No, that's too strong a word...maybe it's more accurate to say he seems like he's in a good place. It's such a relief to not feel worried about him 24/7.
Plants are bringing me so much joy lately. My prayer plant opens her leaves wide to greet me each morning and then raises them up each night, and I feel like I'm doing such a great job as a plant mom. : ) I filled the built-in shelves of my office with plants and books and pictures, and I love being in that room now.
