My list of haves:

• Flowers - at least 5 uniquely different flowers, preferably not CU
• Foliage - at least two types
• Frames
• Paint - I prefer multi-colored that cover a decent amount of space
• Date tags
• Scatters
• Buttons
• Butterflies (not essential, but I like them)
• Word strips
• Fasteners - staples, small stitches, etc
• Word art - especially pre-made titles
• Alphas
• Paper bits
• Bows - at least 2
• Papers - the most popular background papers are those that are somewhere between full pattern and solid. For solids, I think there should always be a white option and a dark option (doesn't have to be black)

My list of have nots:

• Doodles/theme elements - I feel awful saying this because I always think they are super duper cute in kit previews, but I have such a difficult time using them
