Regarding the characters, she is scared of the furry ones, not the ones like the Princesses, that are real people.
Her school is worried about her extreme fear (I mean, a picture in a book causes her severe anxiety) and they added it to her IEP for the Fall. I am hoping they can help her, because it is so distressing to see her get so worked up and upset. I wouldn't want her Disney experience to be ruined because of it.
