I've used PSP from version 6 to X2 and my crashing problems were strictly RAM related. PSP is great for scrapping & photo editing. There are a few differences in how they do things or name things and all the photo actions you can buy won't work on it but there are PSP photo editing scripts, many free. You can open .psd files in PSP and save as .psd as well. I have CS3 but there are certain differences in commands and in how the screen look that I don't like so I stick wth PSP
