Declan got to where he preferred the left and only wanted that side. After fighting him for a while I just went with it. The right dried up and he continued to nurse from the left until he weaned a few months later. He is almost 8 and poor leftie is still a little on the saggy side as opposed to her sister.
It worked for me though as I preferred to sleep on my left side so it was easier for him to nurse at night and when he nursed on the left I could also be on the computer and still use the mouse with my right so it was all well and good. LOL
