Noises have really never bothered me since honestly I can't stand being in a "quiet" house/car. In fact I always had to have the TV on to do homework. I can't seem to focus when it is quiet so I would turn the TV on and turn my back to it.
I live in a rural area so if I leave the windows open I can hear birds, frogs and squirrels.
