I know this conversation is old and so many of you have made (very polite and) wonderfully pointed comments in support of running this business like a business and treating the artists here like artists. But there is another side to this discussion...
Digital scrapbooking is a hobby and buying products is a privilege, not a necessity. There are innumerable ways in this day and age to be a memory keeper... no digiscrapping necessary. No one is forcing anyone to shop here or pay full price for kits. Yes, it totally sucks when you can't afford to do what you want to do when you want to do it, but we're not talking about a gallon of milk or a loaf of bread here.
I don't mean to be snarky or rude, but I'm curious why someone who's been a member here for seven years would suddenly feel the need to specifically post that they won't be shopping here anymore. Let's not forget to check our privilege and perspective once in a while.
