OK...got it to work...
Here's the obscure comment I followed:
This was my solution. Log into netvibes using your bloglines info. Click Dashboard then manage. On the left under Dashboards click backup data. Select Bloglines from the dropdown. that will export an XML file from to your computer with everything you were following in bloglines. Now add that to netvibes by clicking add on your page and then import the xml in the menu on the right. Now you can read things in netvibes.
The only part that mixed me up was the 'add' part. You have to back to the main dashboard, then click 'add' on the top left. Then click on 'Feeds'. Then where it says 'import opml' browse to find that file that you exported (mine was in the downloads folder)...
Then you have to go in and patch up the look/feel of the feeds you just imported. I had to make mine all magazine view again....
