I did meet up with friends in Vienna though. I had stayed with their family in Innsbruck 30 years ago. It's so funny though, because that was the highlight for my dh, son and myself. It's one thing to visit another country, but to get together with people, eat, drink, laugh...it just made it so much more memorable!
