Oh no! I hope they are very mild and she gets over them quickly.
My oldest got them when he was 3 and gave them to his 9-month old brother (as well as a 6 year-old cousin and his 25 year-old uncle and friend!). We were told to call the dr. as soon as the 9 month-old got them and they would give us a medication to make them a mild case. We did that and it was a very mild case. This just happened to be 1995 when the vaccine came out, however, this happened just a few months before.
Fast forward 12 years and used-to-be 9 month-old had to get the vaccine anyway because he had them before 12 months old.
