Well that was a terrible prank call! I can only imagine the panic you guys felt. I am sure glad it was nothing and you guys can laugh about it now.
It is hard when you live so far away from your family. My Dad and I had a routine. I called him every morning on my drive to work. He was an earlier riser so it was perfect. We would chat that 20 mins while I drove in. It served a double purpose... I knew he was ok and I also had that time to connect. Oh I did use a headset... so I was hands free.
I sure miss those calls.
Anywho… glad your emergency was nothing and now you can laugh about the situation.
