Those who hate windows 8, have you upgraded to 8.1? It lets you easily jump between app setting and the usual desktop.
I got laptop for Christmas and ONCE I GOT W8.1 installed, I like it so much better! I also LOVE the touch screen. It doesn't seem to get to fingerprinty.
