When I was young, I used to hate New Years. I would go to bed as early as possible to just get it all over with. I didn't understand why people would care about ringing in a new year. I was very much stuck in my ways and hated any changes. Now I enjoy the idea of it but we do things pretty low key. I don't make resolutions, but I chose my One Little Word each year (this is my 10th word!) and that gets me more excited about the possibilities of the year. My word for 2020 is Fearless!
