So are you guys going to Elmendorf? I was in the Air Force too, just 10 years. I have a few friends still there that retired there. It is a great assignment. Fantastic food and lots to see, even though its so remote.
You'll see Moose a lot! I saw my first bear on base just a couple months after getting there.

Thanks! It should make for some good scrapbook pages  Moose are my favorite animal, but I've never seen one in real life! Lol...that's about to change! I hope one walks through my yard! Someone from my husband's new office shared a video of a moose giving birth right outside their building. Just watched it through the office window  |
