I'm usually a kit scrapper, with the exception of beach layouts. Since I was making a 30+ page album, I made myself a stash of elements/papers from several designers in the blue/green/tan/brown/white range that I collected just for making the album. The basics I do look for outside kits are a subtle graph paper, bright white paper, white straight stitching (& zigzag) & single color paint splatter/neutral confetti.
