I bought paper plates and bowls, plastic silverware and cups and aluminum pans to decrease the amount of dishes we are dirtying. My husband and I are still working and we come home at the end of the day to all of the dirty dishes our kids are using while we are gone. It got old real fast so fake dishes it is.
