I totally understand what you are saying. I think a lot of it is lifestyle and fashion style are different now which helps with people looking younger and not old grandma like. I am 42, but consistently for about 10 years now, people have guessed that I am 8 years younger. This is pretty ironic because I became single at 30 and it was always guys 8 years younger asking me out. Like over and over even ones who fully knew my age. I met my husband 7 years ago and guess what, he's 8 years younger than me. lol So, go for a younger man then, Lorie. No reason to have to date what you think looks older at all.
