Showing Off
This is probably my favorite/proudest page this month. The top photo is one I have really wanted to get scrapped - but had not ever found the right stuff to use with it, it's Christmas but the story was more than just being Christmas and was such a nostalgic memory feeling. Then of course the bottom photo isn't the best photo of me opening the gift but is part of the story, I was so happy to feel like I was successful in getting them both scrapped and while they were not big photos, felt like I got the story told and represented with the elements/papers.
Shouting Out:
I really love this page by marnel - the asymmetry of the page really drew my eye to the photos and I loved how they were paper clipped the frame (something I try so often and don't feel like I ever do well - so I always love to see it done so well and she did fantastic). The hexagon shape is super fun on the side and there's so much depth with all the great shadowing.
