We have a special needs son who during the summer gets summer school which they call ESY (extended school year) it runs for 6 weeks starting the first week of July. They really make it fun. He loves it so we try not to schedule stuff during that time. We have planned something we've never done before - a trip to the Poconos the last week in June. We read an article in the paper a few weeks ago about this place called the Rex Hotel on Promised Land State park. It is a refurbished 10 cabin hotel. There are trails and a lake to swim in. I'm really excited.
