I was such a PITA as a teen. I know it! You know what got us through? My family always had dinner together -- sitting down, all of us, talking. Sure, for those years, my responses were snarky, but the lines of communication were always there. One day, the veil lifted and I was a normal human again! And there was my family, happy to see a happy person again!
Ahh, teenage hormones. Couldn't pay me to go back, LOL!
