I think you have far more of a reason than me! Can you buy one and write it off, or a portion, as a business expense?!
I am a little more seriously considering the iPad Air (4th gen) because that one will work with the Apple Pencil too, or so I've read! I just don't know enough to know if I will regret not coughing up the money for the Pro and end up wanting to upgrade soon after anyway. I'm paralyzed with indecision! Lol...
