I began with the Thoreau quote (instead of a photo.) I wanted to make a layout about gardens, so chose one of the Vintage Herbarium papers, and a twig frame to emphasize the theme. It seemed the quote page wasn’t standing out enough, so I added a paper frame beneath the twig wreath. For a bit more interest I added two bird & floral stamps, but did them as overlays so they are just a hint of pattern. Then the frame for the page, and finally, that red spot at the bottom of the paper seemed to call for more red, so I added the transfers. |
