I had whooping cough a few years ago. I have no idea where it came from. I was vax'd for it as a kid and had my boosters and everything, but still managed to get it. It was horrible and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. (Although I did share it with Luke's teacher!)
I don't get the non-vaxing side either, but I have a LOT of online friends who don't vax. We just don't discuss the topic b/c they can get pretty heated about it.
