I would have to go elsewhere to go to museums. Well, I should clarify. There is one museum in my town. I played in the band at the dedication in 1972. My first visit to the museum was in 2009. I did a quick walk through when it was free to the public during the annual Moon Festival. So many people, it was hard to enjoy it or even see many things.

But I did another visit with my cousin and her 2 granddaughters in 2019 when they came to town for the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. It wasn't as crowded since it was 2 weeks after the Moon Festival and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, especially with the 2 girls, ages 8 and 5.

There wasn't much there in the beginning but over the years more has been collected and added to the exhibitions. Just this week an airplane that Neil Armstrong set some records in was installed outside the museum. And, yes, there is a moon rock there. Small but there!
