Yes, I almost always journal. I always say that I am a storyteller who happens to scrap so people will be more inclined to read her stories vs. an artist who happens to scrap so people will be more inclined to look at her art.
On the rare occasion that I get a GSO, it is 75% (at least) likely that it is a photoless page... which not only tells you a lot about my writing but a lot about my scrapping, too!
