I live in Florida so I feel like you're describing our weather too. No snow, no cold, hot...but I love it.
Florida is known for its alligators and this one just made the news all over for being so big and hanging out on a walking path at Circle B Bar Reserve which is 10 minutes from my house. We've walked these trails a lot, but I don't know if I would have stood there watching like these people did. I have caught smaller ones while fishing though...not what I was trying to catch.
