My part of Australia is completely different to yours. We've actually had a really cold summer and the nights are already getting a chill to them (we completely missed the recent heatwave thank goodness). I can count on one hand the amount of days we've had above 30 degrees this summer. We only have to travel about 30 minutes to reach snow in the Winter and occasionally get snow in our city. A mountain on the island even got snow a week ago. We probably use heating at least half the year and have had to start using it again the past few days.
