I always knew that my first born girl would be: Anna Kathleen, my granny had, had a daughter & that was her name, she lost her before she was born.
We were always very close & I told her that I would give that name to my baby girl.
So we have an Anna Kathleen.
DH chose the name for our 2nd, one morning while at church, we were singing a song about Grace. I picked her middle name for ^ granny. (we never had a boy name picked out before we found out g/b)
So we have a Grace Elizabeth. (who is anything but graceful)
If Anna was a boy (which we opted to not find out until birth) she would have been Bryce Austin just because I love the sound of them together, country, cowboyish. Then my dad & evil (his wife) named their new puppy that...so we couldn't 'keep' our name without being irritated to use if Grace had been a boy.
When we went to the ultrasound (one of about 30) for baby #3, we decided before we went in, if it was a boy, his name would be Brody James. (we never discussed girl names this pregnancy)
So we have a Brody James.
