We're still under stay at home orders until at least May 28th. If we really do start re-opening then, nothing will change for my family. Community spread and new infections are still too high for us to feel safe going out if we can avoid it.
The things I'd most like to do, like visit family and go on vacation, are still a long way away. My kids miss their friends, and after stay at home orders are lifted I'd love to get them together in a relatively safe way. I miss my students, but this weekend I need to drop something off at their houses and will be able to say hi from their front yards. I'm looking forward to seeing them!
