I would really like to get the laundry done without having to actually do it.
If I have some “me” time next weekend, I will work on finding someone to make a quilt from my grandfather's shirts. He passed away last week and so now I have several of his beloved plaid shirts in my closet waiting on this project.
The last meal I prepared was one I made for myself: a grilled cheese sandwich with two kinds of "fancy" sliced Sargento cheese and Breadsmith rosemary garlic ciabatta bread. It was glorious.
Today I am recuperating from Fall Break, losing my grandfather, and getting ready for the work week ahead.
I wish I could make this rain & wind go away so we could run errands in peace and so that it wouldn't make me feel so sad.
